Celebrate in Style!

New Year's Eve
We welcome you to our New Year celebrations with a sumptuous afternoon tea served in our luxurious lounges where you can relax in preparation for the fabulous celebrations ahead. Then after you have settled in, it's time to get your 'glad rags' on for our New Year party, for the ladies cocktail dresses or that little black number and black tire or lounge suits for the gents. Join us and your fellow guests for a Champagne and canapé reception before making your way to our candle lit restaurant for our lavish gala dinner, where we will pull out all the stops to make it a night to remember.

Enjoy a fabulous evening with music, dancing, cabaret and a visit from the local pipers. At midnight we will bring in the New Year with a spectacular firework display and continue the festivities and celebrations way into the wee hours.

New Year's Day
Traditionally we serve a brunch on New Year's Day, so you can take it easy - no need to rush. Guests are then free to enjoy the day at their leisure, perhaps chill out in the pool or hot tub. Alternatively you can discover the local scenery with a stroll around the lakeshore or fellside. Reception will be happy to give you a 'Walkers Pack' complete with map and other goodies for your adventure. Or alternatively check out what's' on at the 'flicks' and enjoy a film at the local cinema with our compliments. Dinner will be served in the restaurant with a little light musical entertainment, you will then have to wait and see what 'magic' we bring to the night. Simply ease your way gently into 2014 and let us look after you.

Thursday 2nd January 2014
After a hearty and leisurely Cumbrian breakfast it's time to say a fond farewell to those of you who have to leave. If you are able to take advantage of our really special rate of £42 per person per night bed & breakfast, so you can enjoy our hospitality further in 2014.
